Preparing for procharger instalation

I am planning on putting a intercooled procharger into my mustang this summer but i am curious of any possible negative effects. I want to know of what hardcore effects it is going to have on my transmission and engine in the long run and the best way to extend the life of the two so it doesn't have as much of a wearing effect.

Any and all hints appreciated.

When i get this done :hittingthefan:

When you've actually ordered it or have it is a good time for these kind of questions. There are so many people especially V6 owners who say oh I'm going to PA my car but never do. Kind of gets annoying to say the same stuff over and over again and then nothing come of it.

Sorry for the short rant but it is true.

As far as negative effects and so on. research a bit and see what other 05+ guys have seen. V6power.net is a good place to get some info.

Depends on the boost but maybe some fuel upgrades. Im not sure how the 05+ come equipped, but new injectors, pump, MAF.

every time you use boost you increase wear. Stay out of the pedal and you've basically changed nothing. Get in the pedal and wear/breakage will increase.

Think of the worst stuff that can happen to a motor/trans/rear and then make it just a tad worse and that's what you'll get when it's time for you to have a real problem.

If you can't pay don't play.
