Can I?

Can i put SLP loudmouth mufflers on a v6 i dont see any applications?

mustangvsix 11-15-2006 04:51 PM

sure can, just buy either an 'h' or 'x' pipe of your choice, then you can put any mustang GT catback on you want. not sure how slp will sound on the six, but it can be done.

I agree. If you put LM I's on there it will sound like a popcorn-popper-ricer-tin-can-mobile.

Ya, SLP LM I's sound like ass on v8's let alone V6's. LMII's are a different story. I have a friend with magnapacks on his and it sounds pretty good in my opinion. If he had an H pipe it would sound even better.

Now LM II's are a different story. They sound alot like magnapacks (LM II's are less poppy and more toned IMO).

Cheddarbob 11-15-2006 09:05 PM

oh sorry thats the ones im talking about. so they are kinda like a glasspack but not straight through

WaterDR 11-15-2006 09:12 PM

It's all a matter of opinion. LM1's sound better to the older guys because they sound more like the glass-packs of the 60's. LM2's sound more rice-ish (ha ha ....this is gonna start a war). BUT, it was not made for the 6'ers.

Yeah i couldnt find any application for a six but i have seen and heard the sound clips of the 2's and to me its loud but of course is an 8
