A few questions
Ok, so I plan to do some upgrades to my v6, but I need some advice ... I just wanted to ask how hard it would be to do a true dual exhaust system, using the mac off-road H and a flowmaster gt catback. Also, I wanted to know if I could install my lowering springs myself (they were given to me:shock2: ) so yeah, feedback, if any, would be much appreciated! Thanks guys!

Mike:
Exhaust work is painfully easy on a Mustang. Everying bolts right up. With the correct mid-pipe on your car, any GT catback will work. It helps to have a lift. Springs are a bit harder and not really for a complete novice. A reasonably priced shop would charge about $150 to install both I would think. |
Oh sweet, thanks a lot. What else would I need to install the springs? I heard there are a few extra parts required.

You need nothing....just a lift and some muscle. No parts.
However, IMO if you are going to drop it much, you should replace the shocks and struts. In fact, I would never swap springs w/o struts and shocks to match, but most don't. |
Ok great. Thanks much for all your help. The good news is, I'm not a COMPLETE novice. I've worked on many cars, just not a stang. Until now that is hah. Thanks again.
