Is a throttle body spacer even worth it? If I do put one on, will it prohibit me from installing the only california legal cold air intake, the mac one (I have a 98)?

Tb spacer is garbage dont waste your money. And just get the cheapest CAI you can because the gain is minimal at best. Ebay cai is where its at for the v6.

The only problem with Ebay CAI's is they won't pass smog here in California. My County has a visual inspection as well, and if pretty much anything is other than stock, it has to have a carb number to approve it. I checked on the CARB approved devices list, and there's only 1 CAI, the one that mac makes. So if I get one, I think the cheapest is 170. I'll probably end up getting a performance ignition coil instead.
