I was wondering if a gt hood actually has a hole going through it into the engine compartment or if it is like a regular hood on a stock 02 v6. Also what purpose does it serve if it does go through, I imagine it has something to do with air in the engine or something like that, but im not sure. The reason I ask is because a friend and i were thinking about cutting the black part out of my scoop so that it would go through and let air into the engine. If what im trying to do with my hood is no good would it be ok to buy a gt hood? Thanks
