Question about the 1994 Stock scoops.

I wanted to know if i have to take the scoops off from the inside of the car, or if there is a bolt on im missing somewhere, or do they just pop right out, can someone tell me how to take them out? 1994 body. the two scoops on the lower sides .

you gotta go from the inside. I believe there are 3-4 small bolts. like 8mm i think.

why are you taking them off?

good question sir. maybe he wants to paint them?
lucky you, those little guys are functional (94 and 95 only)
too bad your v6 is notorious for blowing head gaskets... (also 94 and 95 only)

yeah they are functional on 94-95 and that rocks.

The headgaskets do suck, but when you rebuild the engine with forged parts..you are good to go

they should already be functional.

Autobadges 09-11-2006 07:38 AM

yes they already come functional. Look behind the scoops where the rear wheel starts and you will see the vents the air goes through to make them functional :)
