Catted v Uncatted
Just a quick question before I make up my mind and dish out some green, does the off-road H pipe from MAC sound THAT much louder than the catted? Thanks

a catted pipe always more quiet then a non-catted. for my Gt's case it is WAY louder without cats...dunno with your V6...but yes it will be louder with no cats.

It will be louder without cats, yes, but some people say that taking the cats off of a V6 makes it sound raspy at higher RPMs.

that raspy threat is all i need to hear to steer me away from off-road, but i just dont want it to be quiet with cats, but this would be the h pipe and catback, not just a y replacement, so. im lookin for as beefy as my six can be and sound like a mustang, thats it.

I like catted pipes because they smooth out the sound.A catted X pipe is alot louder than the stock H pipe.
