hi guys, my parents as of now have a 2005 automatic v6 mustang. i'm planning on getting that as my first car which will be in less than a year. don't flame me because i'm a kid, i'm very knowledgable.
i was wondering if any of you knew where or how i could get an automatic to manual transmission swap? any and all input will be greatly appreciated. thanks. |

on an 05 i would personally not do the swap because its still valueable...you could just trade it for a manual for less than 3 grand...
but if you really want it (lol i am in the same boat with you) i would save up and do it (which is what i am doing now) i would not do the swap right away but let the car get a few years old and then do it... IF your like me and love driving a stick...then i would go for it dude...it kills me when my friend TWebb023 lets me drive his stick GT then i have to go back to mine...lol big change

Do not waste the money. You could build a sweet ass auto tranny with that kind of money. New stall converter and the works.

Get a tune with adjusted shift points, you'll be happy. 400 bucks beats 3000.

I've learned to love and respect the power of auto's. Nothing better than beating manual's with your left arm hanging out the window...
