I have a 2004 3.9 and want to know how much intercooled supercharged PSI the motor can take? Engine condition is like new but about 17,000 miles on the ticker. Also I'll be using a Eaton M90. Would 38# injectors work or should I go with 42#? and who in colorado can tune the computer to work with these mods?

did you do the mod yourself and it's running. Got some pics?? Sweet setup, cheap for insurance, good on gas, and V8 power when you need it. It should probably take more than 8lbs if it's intercooled. I had a super coupe before and used to push 12lbs through it no problem. The wife blew the head gaskets after putting some 87 octane in it. I had the heads oringed. and head studs and upped the boost to 15lbs and drove it for 2 years before i sold it back in the late 1980's.
it's all up to the tune on the question 'HOW MUCH BOOST TILL SHE BLOWS"!!!

I wouldn't, if you want the engine to last a normal life, 8 pounds would be my max, if you want to rebuild it in a year or two, then by all means, have fun.

11 PSI is max for a v6 mustang with a stock bottom end. 8 psi is probably better, but with a good tune 11 will be fine.
Make sure you check 3.8mustang.com - lots of good information there... I've personally been a member for almost 2 years now.
