Best tire?

I'm looking for a set of 275/40/17's to go on 17x9 Bullitts

This is a daily driver and I would like a good treadlife so I'm not constantly replacing tires, but I'd like good traction too. Kind of a mix inbetween. I'll drive it in the rain and on dry pavement but I'm going to leave my stock tires on in the winter snow/ice months.

What would be a good set of tires?

www.tirerack.com is your freind they have tons of reveiws etc.. if it was me i would get 275 on the fromt anf something bigger on the back like a 285 or 295 for more grip. And i like Hankooks, kuhmo's cause they are cheap and good on dry and wet pavement but that about it. I love my falkens to they have been great also.

I'm getting all the same size so I can rotate them. And if I wanted to read reviews on tirerack.com I wouldn't have asked the question here. Any specific tire you recommend?

i was just saying there is alot of good reveiws on there, you dont have to be dick i was trying to help. PLus i dont know if you have ever heard of that site before.

Like i said i like even though they are cheap i think hankook and kuhmo's are good becuase they dont cost alot and are a decent tire in the dry and wet.

Ya now that I went back and read what i wrote about reading reviews it sounded kinda bad i wasn't trying to be a dick, I just don't want to read reviews because everyone says they are great about every tire and you dont know who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't.

Sorry about my post

Close... my stock wheels don't have snow tires they just have the stock ones, and even though everyone says a Mustang is really hard to drive on ice, it's amazing what slowing down a little will do for you.

My friend's called me stupid for driving a Mustang in the winter, I told them it took talent, not stupidity... well they've all had their trucks in the ditch. Anyway...

I'm just looking for 275/40/17's for spring/summer/fall. $125 per tire or less would be great, I want a good traction/treadlife blend.
