Default Need tire help

I have 2-18x9 fr500's for the front and 2-fr500's 18x10 for the bback. I have a 2002 gt lowered 1-1/2".

Was told to put 275x35's on the front and 315x30's on the back. Will this work? What Brand and where is the best place to buy?

Yes it will work. You will have to search around to find a 315/30/18 and it won't be cheap. You will have better luck looking for a 295/35/18 or 285/35/18.The brand depends on how much your wanting to spend.

How would it look with a 245-40 on the front and a 275-35 on the rear?

Minimum size you want on front is 275 or else the tires will cup and youll get bad traction and wear, and 245 isnt going to fit correctly. Youll probably get rubbing on the rear with 315 on the back so youll want to go smaller, like 295.

I have 255/35/R18 in front and 285/35/R18 in the back...I bought the wheels from a buddy of mine so I didn't have to pick the wheels...seeing how they fit when I replace them I'm gonna get 265/35/R18 in front and 295/35/R18 in the back. The tires he put on them don't protect the rim enough and look a hair too small. Also the brand of tire makes a difference with tire height too...A guy I met has 245/17/R17 in the front on some bullits but they look like rubberbands...I don't remember the brand but just find a pic that looks good and find out what different people are running.

yeah I just put 245/40/18's and 275/35/18 Pirelli's on my front 9's and rear 10's repsectively. Honestly next time i'll go 265 in front and 295 in back, but it doesn't look bad...to some one who knows tires real well they might think it's to small, but it fits fine i think.

these are the 245's on the 9's, i think they look fine, but in a year or so when i go to put new tires on i'll make sure to get a bigger size.

Oh and all 4 tires ran be back 717.00 shipped from Tire Rack...
