Does anyone have these tires or know anything about them? I have heard they are great tires. I dont want to spend $250 for some BFG's but I also dont want to spend $110 for some tires that are hardly known. These are right in the middle so I think I am going to get them. They are going on some deep dish 17x10.5 bullitts.

I just got them and they are pretty good...I just mounted them yesterday and tested them on some nice corners and taking off...I haven't driven too much but so far I like them a lot. I've heard that the tread life is pretty low, like 15,000 miles. The rims I bought came with them but when they wear out I'll be going with 555's all around

hopefully ill be getting some of these soon. i have and extra set of 17 gt wheels i wanna put them on. im just not sure how wide i should get em. i think the wheel is 8in wide. so its either a 245 or 275 i dont think the 315 would work out. anyone runnin a 275 on a 8in wide rim??

I have nittos they are great mine are about a year old and need ot be replaced. They do only last about 15k mile si have 13k and they are blad. granted i do alot of drag racing, which means alot of burnouts ot heat the tires. I think these pair have liek 30-40 passes on them, something around there. So i think they did great. plus they look fantastic and were great in the rain till the tread wore down really really low.

i had 275's on a 9in wheel.

I have them as well 275/40/17 on stock rim cut my 60' time down to low 1.9s and I know they can do better with a better burnout. Next time around I will try to find some BFG D/R to see how much better they perform on the track, but for street I will only get nitto D/R. 15,000 miles is better than 8k from BFG :p

I have made about 30 passes on some that I bought used lol. The tread is still good on them! They are sometimes hard to hook up on and I have to bog the engine a little bit but it's much better than running on street tires. I'm about to buy some 315/35/17 for my deep dishes also. Steeda has them for $169 but for some reason their online store doesn't seem very functional.

I have 275/50/15's they are better than a street radial but not as good as the BFG's or MT's at the track. The Nitto's are better than the others on the street and will last longer than either. I normally only use mine when I'm going racing and they are just about shot. But even with not much left on them I pulled a 1.80 sixty foot Tuesday night.

im gonna have to wrap some 315 sized Nitto DR's around my 10.5 inch rims once i get em! hopefully I will get better 60' times!! :mad:

I loved my Nitto Dr's. My current pair are shot but a friend got me a set with just a bit of tread on them from a Dakota R/T he bought. I might mount them up for one last trip to the strip this year.

Get some nice street tires and you can hook just as well. Ive got absolutely no problems hooking with my pirellis after I learned the combo my car/tires like. I burn off the rocks twice in the staging lane, drop from 1300, and let her rip. Its all traction, doesnt even chirp. I also do this on normal street psi of 32.

Hell yeah, Nitto Dr's are awsome tires for everyday driving and for the usual weekend drag racing! I have some 315/35's on my DD bullitts and couldn't be happier. I have about 9k miles on mines and they still have alot of life left in them. :D

mine are bald after 14k now and thats with a ass ton of bunroutrs on them i must have **** like 60 passes on them now. thats alot of burnouts.

I can't hook for **** with 315 Nitto DR's.... they're great in terms of wear for a DR, so I'd reccomend them for daily driving, but if you're looking for a serious DR, look at MT or BFG.

Dude I was looking at your quarter mile times with DR 14.5 is your best I did that with a cold air intake and a catback. Looks like a driver error to me you should be close to 14 flat especially with your 4.10's and drag radials.

I think he is running at a fairly high altitude, corrected he runs 14 flat.

plus his suspension and helping him at all.

well my nittos cut my time to 13.7 from 14.1, and now I run that everytime I get to the track with them on, but I do need to say that they can't hook when I spray, I guess I need something stickier for 410rwtq :eek:

Altitude... and now with 4.10's I spin like crazy... the track blows, the tires aren't hooking, I'm trying the local 1/8th with a better altitude and track prep later this month.

Everyone makes fun of Kumhos. But I ran 5 straight 2.0s with them the first time at the track on 285/40/17's...full tire pressure. That was my first time EVER at the track too. I just don't see the point of DR's.

Now I run 315 Sumis. Never had them at the track. I would have gotten Kuhmos again, but could not find them in 315's. I think the MX's might come in that size though. I may have to try them the next time.

I cut a 1.78 last night on my Nitto DR's so I like them. :D

i dropped a full 3tenths form 275/40/17 nittos going from stock goodyears.

I havent been to the track for like 2 months now. :(

only because my Nitto 555 Street tires suk so bad on the strip..they spinn like crazy, even when I feather the clutch. They even break loose and spin to much when i shift into 2nd.
Now im just waiting till next season when I finally have my new rims and 315 Nitto Drag Radials on em!

Blue02GT. PLEASE PLEASE tell me how you cut that kind of 60' time. I just had my personal best last night and it was a 1.9. What kind of burnout,,,what tire pressure and what launch rpm. I know my car has an 8.8 in it (1/8th mile) and want to get it. Thnk u.

I have 275/50/15's. I heat them up for a good 10 seconds in second gear, get lot's of white smoke. Nitto's have to be real hot to grab. I run mine at 18-19 lbs. Mine have the thick sidewalls being 50's, I'm not sure what pressure to go with on a lower profile 17" maybe 20. Mine is an automatic with a 3,500 stall speed so I can't feather it out. I just slam it to the floor and the last amber light and hope they hook.
