275 on a 10.5?
Can you put a 275 on a 10.5? or a 285?
I have 275/40/17x9 then 315/35/17 I wondering because I didn't realize how expensive theses tires can get and im look to go cheaper. thanks |
I would go with a cheaper 315 like sumitomo. A 275 stretched over a 10.5 rim looks terrible and isn't recommended.

Short answer, no. Long answer.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

yeah I have seen some people do the 275 and it would just share me hitting a bump down the road... I have 315's Sumi. and have for over a yr now and they hold up pretty good.

this.... lol |

are there any other sizes that fit on the 17x10.5?? |
You could fit anything from 295 to 335. I'd look for used tires. The toyo R888 is (or used to be) easy to find in 335 as it is a spec race tire for some series for vipers.

thanks

275 on 10.5 only works if you're a faggot.

You should be able to get a good year or more out of the sumitomos unless you are burning rubber all the time. $200 or so for both once a year isn't all that bad. My BFG sports in the front which are 255s cost more than the 315s, so you wouldn't really be saving any money.
