Default Tire recommendations

Finally time to replace the tires they lasted me 60,000 miles so I was pretty happy. What are some tires you guys recommend. 275/40/17. Would like ones that'll last a decent amount of time.

Heck, what tires did you have, get more of them if they last that long. I like the Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs I had, but the Michelin PS2s (EXPENSIVE!) that I have now are the best tires I've ever driven on. On my stock rims, which I just put back on today for winter, have Riken Raptors which have done pretty well over the years. I think they are made by BF Goodrich and are fairly cheap.

yeah I had the michelin pilot sport's just cost me an arm and a leg when i got them i think it was about $1,400 for all 4 when I got them I think about 4 or 5 years ago. Think I found a new set this time spending only about 600. Found some decent priced tires with a 50,000 mile warranty.

Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S. Best tire i've ever had. Cut a 2.01 60' with them.

Done some research on Tire Rack and I think I've narrowed it down to the Continental ExtremeContact DW's and the BFG KDW2. I've heard the PS2's are the **** but Car and Driver did a test and I just don't see they're worth *that* kind of money. There is always Nitto, which I've had before, but I wasn't overly impressed. Just didn't stand out. And I stay away from Sumi after I wrecked my old GT on them earlier this year.

Funny thing is that I was just looking at my front tires today and mentioned to my co-worker by spring I will be shopping for some new tires I guess too, the back tires have a good bit of tread on them so was pretty impressed with them since I drive a good 500miles a week from A-B for work and a little more now since I am covering another branch office too.
