Default Rim Question

Hi, I was looking at purchasing the 17x10.5 chrome deep dish 03 cobra rims and just had a question, I purchased the NON deep dish 03 chrome cobras a couple years ago in 17x9. Will these rims match eachother? I want to run 17x9 in front and then obviously 17x10.5 in the rear but from the pictures they dont look like they match at all.. Also does anyone know when the 03 chrome deep dish 17x10.5's be in stock?

Can you get a link of the ones you bought, and a link of the ones you were planning on buying? So we know that your buying the same ones.

A picture wont solve the issue...DUH.

He needs to hear from someone that has purchased the rims and has seen them in person. Or have an AM employee go physically look at the wheels in question.

The picture will not necessarily show the actual color of the product exactly. Not to mention differences in people monitor's color settings.

^^ true, but i figured theres only gunna be one different color of chrome. If its just plain chrome i dont see how the color would be off, i thought he meant pattern or something. Either way the links couldnt hurt.

I found everything but chrome variations, it always comes up with crap, like google chrome, or chrome sunglasses, chrome rim sellers, blah blah.

They are definitely different. The spokes on the standard Cobra wheels are slightly larger than those on the DD version.

They will not match.

Yeah I'd say they won't match. The aftermarket wheels seem to change production companies every 2 years and every time there is some slight variation

These are the ones I bought a couple years ago..

http://www.americanmuscle.com/ch20cowh1.html

These are the ones I want to purchase for the rear..

http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome...ra-17x105.html

this is what it says under the fitment but they dont look like they would match at all...

# Fits rear only
# Fits 94-04 V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, and 94-98 Cobra
# Will not fit 1999-2004 Cobra with stock IRS bolts - use Low Profile IRS Bolts.
# Will not fit Baer EradiSpeed+1 rear brakes.
# "Deep Dish" style 2003 Cobra rims DO match stock 2003 Cobra rims.
# Stagger with 17x9 Cobras on the front for a classic muscle car stance & improved traction

A couple years ago they were manufactured by that company with those flaming M center caps now they're what ever those new ones are. I'm just about positive there will be something different between the two but you can always call AM and verify

I have the stock chrome Cobra wheels on my '04 and a buddy of mine in TN has the DD versions (his '03 came with the Anniversary wheels) and they looked totally different. Even some of the pics on AM look like their stock fronts don't match the DD rears.

IMHO I say get some chrome FR500s, much better looking wheel to me. Especially on a black GT. But, I understand you already got Cobra rims now.

Sorry man. I understand what you're going through. I found a killer deal on some DD Cobra wheels a while back on craigslist (first problem) for like $400 with brand new NT555s (second problem thinking they were a good deal) on them which is what I have on my stockers. Come to find out they were custom stretched stocker that were cracking in the back. LOL. So I passed on that one.

I'm still trying to find something with a 10.5" that will look good on a yellow Termi.
