Default Drag radials for 18's

So once I get the procharger installed I know the sumitomo's are not going to cut it. Since the car is no longer my daily driver I'm going to be looking at getting some drag radials. I really would like to get a set of prostars but since I've spent so much on the procharger it's not going to happen for a while. So my next option is to get a set of drag radials for my 18's. I'm looking to go with a taller tire something with more sidewall.

I've done some searching without much luck. Does a 305/45/18 or 305/40/18 work and does anyone have any pictures on a 99-04? I just run the steeda sport springs which was only good for about a 3/4" drop in the back so I have a lot of room for tire. Or what dr's are you guys running?

Mickey Thompson has you covered with the best ones you can get for traction.

Thanks for the chart...after using a tire/wheel size calculator the 305/45's definitely won't fit. Too tall...the 305/40's might fit but it would be tight and probably rub on hard launches. The 305/35's would fit for sure and are about 3/4" taller than what I'm running currently (285/35).

If anyone runs the 305/40's let me know...

they dont make a 305/40....

the 305/35 is 26.40"...which will probably help out those 4.10's you're running.

HOLY **** they're expensive....

Yeah the MT's don't come in 305/40 but Nitto has some DR's that do. They are pretty expensive but I don't drive the car much so they should last a long time.

You don't want a 305/40 that is to tall. The 305/35 or even the 315's would be best. And yes they are expensive because well they are drag radials lol. One good hard launch and they are worth every penny.
