20's?
I'm debaiting wheather or not to buy 20's for my Mustang.
Before you all go ape shit on me, here is what they looked like before the red lip was painted black. http://www.bigwheels.net/wheels/spor..._lip_large.jpg They'll fit my car. 1200 for rims new, 80% rear tread and brand new front tires. $500.00 for them all. Super wide. Lips on each rim. My friend bought them off another friend and thought they would fit his 330xi but as most of the real world knows, bmw 3 series have a chevy lug pattern. Any thoughts? |
my buddy has a rim close to that on his audi and its looks good, but there not for me but if you like em why not
if you have a 2005 or newer stang, give it a try. If you have an older one, I'll have to slap you for putting 20's on it.
It's a '99 and I have to wait until Saturday to see what one side of my car looks like with them on. 245 in the front and 275 in the rear.
I also have black rims on it now. The Cobra R or whatever they are, we're painted shelby cobra black, or just a shiny black about 2 months ago. My buddy also clear coated them so they look sexy. |

Not for me. Maybe if you can test fit them? See if they look like doo doo or not.
I think it's to big and would look like shit. But if you like them and think they would look good, go for it. Hell maybe buy them and sell them for more if it's a good deal. LOL
Yea id say 20s only look good on 05+ 18s are good for anything below.
Too big for a '99
+1
don't waste your money. We'll all laugh at you.. a lot. To be mean.
20's on a new edge or turd is the ugliest. |
search for my thread i made when i first started in these forums.. its in here, and its 20 inch wheels on my 02 stang, just arrange posts by most viewed and its in there with like 6k views, i got owned hard. Also, another thing u have to look at is the offset, maybe if u can get them in and get ur car lowered it may look good, just depends on your car.
20" wheels are just to big for the pre 05 cars if you ask me. Plus they weight so much more and will slow you down along with other un-performance like things.
Yeah they looked way too big on my car. I thought it would look nice. It did in fact take up some of the excess wheel-well space but the rim is just fucking huge. I thought about buying them and selling them to someone else, but that's a risk I don't want to take. I'm just going to save my money, and if my car isn't totaled or damaged during the winter months, I'm going to see about getting some lowering springs.
20s + mustang = covered wagon?
20's look good on my ride......but i don't give a crap about what anybody else thinks.
I dont know. I really like those rims. If they were 18's I think they'd look perfect.

Wouldnt go over 18's with pre 05's. Just my opnion....which doesnt mean shit.
Heres a better look at my car with 18's. I dont have springs hence the wheel gap... so take that into consideration. http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...ce361c68f7.jpg |
Yeah, 18''s are about the biggest size that look decent without distorting the overall look of the vehicle. Hell, I only have 17''s and I dig 'em. 20''s on a pre-'05 anything only belong on Caprice's with a 30'' lift. lol.
all i see is little wheels.....and losts of space in the wheel wells.
20x10 looks good on my ride. |

20x10 looks good on my ride. People that think 20's look good on pre 2005 Mustangs shouldn't have a Mustang. Maybe you should be driving something else. |

That's what lowering springs are for. If you think your 'ride' looks so damn good, post a picture of your car in the pictures section so we can make fun of you even more.

Like I said, it looks better than I thought it would. I was expecting some chromed out pieces of shit wheels, but I was mistaken. Your car still does not look better than anyone else's on here. If everyone else on this site drives crap, maybe you should go be a fucking moronic pest on another website like internetthugsrus.com or some shit. |
