trying to figure what tire sizing to use.

18x9 front 18x10 rear saleens. Im currently 255/45 front and 275/40 rear. I like how they have a kinda bigsidewall. BUT it seems the front tires have a tad bigger sidewall than the back and i dont like that. I dont want to put 245's on the front because the 275's already push the 255's. SO i was thinking, if i put 275/40's on the front, and had 275's on the back, what would this do considering they are 9's in the front and 10's in the back? i already cant do any rotation, so im not worried about that. i know 275's will fit the 9's as well. but a 305 for the 18's are drag radials, and id like to find a street tire in that size. What sizes would you all run with my setup?

I believe a lot of people run a 285 in the back with 18s. Not sure what you mean by the 275s already push the 255s, but if you have 275s in front, you'll definitely pick up all the grooves in the road and it will pull your car some. I switched to 255s in front because of that and it's not as bad. I believe you can put 305 on the 18x10, but it's going to be expensive.

hard to explain, but like after i take a curve so fast i can feel the back end making the front end just go straight. Kinda like say it feels like trying to drive a car with skinnys on the front and slicks on the back and not using it for drag, using it for a curvy road. or the front ends on ice and the backs on pavement feeling. its difficult, but i guess i could go 275 front and 285 back. your right the 305s are very expensive. so no no there.
