Just wondering for possible future reference, would the 245's fit ona 17x9 for up front. If not, what size are you guys using that have 17x9's up front. Thanks

Matt, they will fit, but look bad.
I have had both 255's and 275's on my fronts. The 275's are the way to go.

Fits like a glove. Never a rub but I do have stock springs.

I would also recommend 275s on a 17x9. 245s are for an 8 inch rim.

245 = Bad news for a 17x9. Your tires will wear out incredibly fast. You can go up to a 285/40/17 on that rim. 275 will also work just as well.

275's will work like a charm, and shouldn't rub with mildly lowered car (my car is 02 gt vert. and Steed sport springs with a tad over 1" lowering - run 275 series on front no problem). If I had it to do over again, I'd run 285's. Be advised that the BRAND of tire you choose can affect this - some tires are physically LARGER than their 275 rating would indicate. I've seen an easy 3/4" variation depending on design and shape of the side wall, for instance. This overhang (my term) can really affect the fit, so be careful if you elect to exceed 275 (I see lots of folks here in Atlanta running 285's). Falken tires are the 275's I'm using.
