i dont know nothin about tires but

285/40/17 and 275/40/17 or different (only the first number)

i would of just ordered the same tire i had b4 or go with a different tire that fits my rim

Well ya I will just go to the tire shop get them mounted I need some really bad. There only for the front in the back I got some 315/35/17.

Depends on the size of the rim. Also max I would run up front is a 275 wide tire.

yea 285 on the front would prob. rub. If its a 9" wide rim I would go with 275's, if its an 8" I would go with 245's or 255's

If you already have them sitting there, might as well mount them. 285 is pretty wide for a 9" rim and on the front but I'm sure it will mount. Gonna be big though.

245s for 8's. 275 for 9's. which really seems a little too wide for up front, i have OEM machs on mine and it makes this sweet bend in the sidewall that looks soo amazing. That is with 245 on 8 in wide.

I put the 285 in and they fit right no problem with them there a bit big but not much u can't see a difference
