Default 17x9 with 245/45x17

how well would this work? would it stretch the side walls too much. if i do get rims in the future, id like to use my almost new 245's i bought for my stockers.

they will work but it looks lame as hell. small tires on big rims looks rediculous.

255 is a minimal difference from 245. if you are going to spend the money anyways, pitch in 20 more bucks and make it look right. your selection is also greater with 275 series tires.

def dont do it. Like MattJ said, it will look lame as hell. I had a 245 on my 17x9 FR500 spare and it looked really shitty. If you are dead set against a 275, I think there is a 265 out there, but not sure in what diameter its available in.
