Default Can a set of better tires cure the understeer characteristics?

My 07 Mustang V6 understeers when corning, I'm wondering if a set of better tires would cure this characteristics?

wider tires owuld help alot with that. That along with a simple spring upgrade would help it alot also. I rode ina new v6 and its setup for crusing not hard cornering so i know what you mean. The springs and shocks are to soft for my taste in it.

My V6 has pony package, which includes suspension upgrade. Is GT's spring harder than that's on the pony package?

I'm actually thinking of trading the V6 for a GT, so I'm very excited about it.
