Better have a built rear if your going to run those.

Those drag radials arent really made for street use. Though they are street legal doesnt mean they should be driven on the street.

A friend of mine runs 4 of those on his Talon TSI....Not a bad tire at all...leaves about a foot of black mark from all 4 tires on a 500+HP AWD car! Like Icefreezen said they arent really made for the street...i'll vouch after going out on ET Streets tonight....no they arent a good street tire lol!! Go drive on ice with regular radials and thats pretty much what it feels like with them! Overall it's a good tire and will hook great, I dont have a built rear...mines all stock and i launched hard on the ET street @ 4500 and no problems.

I'm thinking of going BFG's. Want to keep it safe and hook better.

DR's are not all made the same.

The Hoosiers are about the most agressive and best for the track. Then you have BFG's and then Nittos. The Nitto suck as DR's but you can actually drive them on the street. Nittos are for guys that want a tire that looks like a DR but acts like a street tire (not that there is anything wrong with that).

You may want to check out a tire called Racemaster. I just stumbled across them. I am not sure where they fit in yet.

In the end, you need to decide what you want. Do you want to race at the track, or look like you race at the track?

Do you plan on driving on them everyday or just put them on now and then to race? I'de say if your going to slap them on now and then to make a pass with someone then go for it, but if you plan on driving on them alot then get a BFG dr. Altho you will save some money using the BFG's since they will last a bit longer and will hook almost just a well.
