Lowering with 20"?

Hi guys! I am new to this awesome forum, and I have a question :).
I am going to buy a 1999-2004 mustang in about 5-6 months. I wonder how much you can lower the car with the Bullet 20" rims? I was first thinking about the "H&R Sport Springs". But since they lower the car about 1,75" in the front and 1.6" in the back, that might not be possible with the 20"?
Piece :punk:

i suggest not gettin 20's on a 99-04...18 would be the max i would get

and as for springs...H&R are very good...i just ordered them for mine and i have 18's and they should look killer

20" is rather large...

the majority of the comunity here runs H&R sports and either 18 or 17 (or even 18rear 17frnt) so browse the pic sec and see what ya like...

eibach pro kit is also a killer suspension upgrade... best one IMPO...

20's look the best on cars that have a air ride suspension.

my friend has a 99 GT with 20s and i dont think he has the option to lower at all because the wheels fill up the wheel well totally. plus the ride is harsh compared to mine with 18s.

No kidding. Don't kill another mustang by putting 20's on it. Stay at 18's unless your going to get into a 2005 or up mustang.

Ok guys I hear ya :P...Thou I think 20" looks good...I am sure it will bring some problems. So I am going with 18" :)!

with 18x8.5 use 255's, with 18x9 use 265 or 275.

20's look like crap on a <05 though I've seen them look nice on exactly 1 fox body.

I've seen a Bullitt with 18's up front and 20's in the rear and that looked awesome. Oh they were bullitt rims too.

not another 20's on a 99-04 thread. 05+ they look hot. dubs on a 99-04 looks like azz IMHO
