Default drag radials

ok i'm going with some 275/40/17 d/r's just wondering which is better nitto or bfg they will be daily drivers so which will last longer and work better in rain but still hook good.

I had the BFG D/R's and loved them i got 15,000 out of them but they where definitely done. They are very sticky and i didn't have any problems with them in the rain unless i floored it and then yes they will spin like crazy. I never had a problem hydro planning on the interstate either. Overall i loved them even though i plan on getting a set on M/T street drag radials next.

the BFG's will hook better but the nittos will last longer.

Agreed with you Matrix, the BFG's hook great, but the nitto's will last a bit longer. I found the BFG's priced a little bit better also. As for rain....it's a drag tire, neither brand will do very well in the rain, just dont put foot into it and leave traction control on.

it cant be as bad as my tires...i spin after every stop light/sign...and i hardly have my foot on the gas
