Default G Force T/A Drag Radial 2?

Are the 2's as good as first ones? I found them for 152$ at
https://www.tiresavings.com/tireShop...n=findCombined
IN SIZE 315/35/17
I was just wondering if they were as good or how long they last because that is the cheapest drag radialds I have found.

Right now I am planing on ordering these ones...http://www.strippermotorsports.com/bfg-88842.html.. but if the G Force T/A Drag Radial 2 are better then I will order those.

Thanks

i just got the same tires delivered yesterday, ill let you know how they are as soon as i get them mounted.

here's the description from some website

Quote:
NOTE: In order to further differentiate the renamed Comp T/A Drag Radial from the existing g-Force T/A Drag Radial (that features a directional tread design), The Tire Rack will identify the renamed Comp T/A Drag Radial as the "g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2".

The only change will be the tire's name on the sidewall. The g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2 will retain the Comp T/A Drag Radial's dimensions and proven asymmetric tread pattern, making it compatible with the original Comp T/A Drag Radial, allowing both tires to be paired together for use on the same axle. While the name change will take place gradually during the second and the third quarter of 2004, BFGoodrich plans to convert all sizes by the fourth quarter.

No matter whether you run the g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2 or Comp T/A Drag Radial, their radial construction combines the enhanced traction, superior handling and extended durability not normally associated with competitive bias-ply drag racing tires.

Both hook really good. But the drag 2 i heard is worse in the rain with that center cention having no groves where the old style drag 1 have lines all threw them. I like the look sof two better which would make me go for them.

lol, not very long... i've heard they should last 10k miles if you drive hard, maybe 13-15 if you're nice to em. but i've also heard of them being used up in less than 8k miles. depends on how much power you're pushing and how you drive them.
