I ordered from mustang tuning a set of 18x9 front and 18x10 rear for my 06 GT.
I have steeda ultra springs to lower it. I am thinking about ordering 255x35x18 for the front and 285x40x18 for the rear. Is this a good choice? will the 285's fit ok. I want to go with the Nitto tires as well. I know the sticky says 255-45-18's but why the taller tire on the front? Discount tire has so far good prices on them. Has anyone dealt with them? Thanks ![]() |

got my wheels and tires ordered. Went with the consensus and got 255-45-18 for the front.

285's 40 in the back.
so it is kind of staggered....but no rotating the tires then. Several sites recommended this set up. I thought about the 295's but the price and limited availability of brands shut me down. I have heard nothing but good about the Nitto 555. We'll see Thanks for your reply
