What do I have?
I recently purchased a '90 Lx that has been lowered. The l/f tire is rubbing and I need to fix this problem. The car has the five lug conversion with a set of 17" wheels and 245/45/17 tires. I am not sure how much the cars is lowered. Is there any way to tell by the springs without removing them? i do see the l/f strut is blue and the r/f is black. Can't read any writing on them without a little more investigating. Should I just start from scratch and do it right. Don't think I have any cc plates either. Can someone point me in the right direction?

The problem may be with the offset of the wheels. My friend had a 86 that was lowered almost 2 inches, and it would rub with the pony wheels and they only had 225's and were 16x7 or 17x7 something like that. I don't see how people do the 5 lug conversions and fit 10.5's in the back.

To the OP. I say start from scratch. A good coilover kit would be the best option, but some good tokico/koni shocks and springs that all match would get you by as well. C&C plates are a must as well.

If you get coil overs, call Maximum Motorsports and have them set you up. They'll know exactly what you need.
