c/c plates
 

I have 96 gt it is lowered and now I'm looking for CC plates. Any help would be great. And is this something I can do myself. Thanks joe.

It is something you can do yourself if you have some mechanical knowledge. It's harder than like a brake job, but not by much. Get a set from MM and just follow the directions and you'll be good. The hardest part is trying to get the dust boot over the damn bushing.

Maximum Motorsports will have the c/c plates you want. The hardest part, which is really just an intimidation for most people, is drilling the fourth hole and it's really not a big deal.

Use the right size drill bit. You'll need an impact gun to pull the top nut off the strut. With the right tools it's a 1 hour job. Oh yeah, and MM or we'll all choke the piss out of you. Juss playin, MM is the shiznit though. I'll never use any other company's suspension.

For some reason my impact didn't help me. I ended up with a wrench and an old tire tool. I put the slotted end of the tire tool on the strut and turned the nut with the wrench, and it sucked doing it that way.

Cake. The hardest part is the drilling. Just follow the instructions, center punch, and drill in steps. Make sure the holes are deburred as well. Also, MM or don't bother.
