Default Take away that floating feel? Please help!

Alright before everyone yells at me cause I have had H&Rss on with my stock shocks there is some reasons for this. I only drive my car about 1500 to 2000 miles a year and its not going over the bumps that is bad its the floating boat feeling that I get........kinda like the car is not connected to the road and I have had enough but because I dont drive the car very much Im not really into $600.00 shock and struts but it seems like those are the ones you have to get If you have low springs like the H&Rssports. I want it to ride stiff. If I have to spend alot I will but because I dont drive it much I would perfer to spend about $300 to $400. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Tokico HP series work great, and should only cost you @ 300 for the set.

I wouldn't recommend the Tokico HP series for the H&R supersport springs. The HPs won't hold up too long to the spring rate that the Super sports are sporting, about 750lbs front, 300 rear. I would recommend the Illuminas or D-specs as they can handle the spring rate better. Biltein HD series or even better the Maximum Motorsport spec valved set. I had the Super sports with the Illuminas and really liked it, however since I eventaully went with coilovers I wish I had gotten the D-specs or shelled out for Koni adjustables.
