A question about my LCA's

I bought some lower control arms from AM (the steeda aluminum LCA's) for my 2003 GT...well unfortunately, the car got repo'd and I was wondering if these would fit my 96 GT??? Thanx ahead of time guys!!!

Yep they will bolt right on. 94-04 share the same suspension parts.

Then why is it on AM they have ones listed for 79-98 and then listed above for 99-04...was this just a f-up is it supposed to be labled 79-04???

even the item number is different...???

They are different, but it should just be in length. Compare the stock one and the Steeda one you have. If it's off by more than a 1/2," I wouldn't use it. If it's in fact a different length and you use it, you'll need adjustable uppers to correct the pinion angle. In short, get new arms and save yourself some cash.

the difference is only in the mounting bolt size. You'll be able to use them but you'll need to modify the car a tad. <99 cars used 12mm bolts for the front mounting position of the RLCA's, 99+ used 14mm bolts. If your control arms are meant for 14mm bolts then you can just drill out the holes in the chassis to 14mm and be good to go. The length are identical between all 94-04.

sweet thanx guys!...I'll more than likely drill the holes to 14mm...I'm stoked now!!! WOOT WOOT!!!
