i'm thinkin about saving up for the 99-04 kit but i've got a few questions i'm not too sure about.. so will this kit fit on a v6 and perform the same? and does anyone have pics of what the stance will look like with this kit.. thanks |
Holy crap thats alot of money to lower a car, but yes it fits GT's, Machs, and v6's and cobra's that don't have IRS.

It will work just fine. I would call MM and ask what spring rate would work best for your application. I was really impressed with how my car handled after installing coil overs, plus it is nice to be able to set your ride height to anything you want. I think its well worth the money.
Here is a side shot of my ride height. |
Coilovers are the best way to lower. You can have the spring rates that fit your needs and still have a good ride quality. You will want to talk to the guys at MM and find out what typr of spring rate you need, they are different than typical springs.

its the correct way to lower the car, but not necessary...if you plan on just driving your car then get a set of shocks/struts and normal coil springs.
you should see my list just to lower my car in the future, but i race lol. (lots of $$) |
well my car is mostly just a daily driver... so with that being said, are there any other brands of coilover kits for mustangs that are not as expensive but with descent quality?
|
MM's coilovers are the only way to go. In the end it'll be about $500 more than the conventional suspension setup, bilstein struts/shock, H&R springs and MM CC plates, but the stance will be better and the car will handle better with coil-overs. That's worth $500 IMO..

+1 mm coilovers FTW
|
MM is the only kit that will be the best quality. Other brands tend to make a lot of noise and are just junk. Save up the money and buy the MM kit. You will be glade you did.
