cc plates

I just installed a set of Autofab cc plates and they knock terribly when I go over bumps in the road. Is this normal or should I go to Maximum Motorsports cc plates?

zigzagg321 03-16-2008 02:59 PM

check your install man. everything tight?

I don't really want to say anything other than Maximum Motorsports is crap, so yeah, check you install. If no problems can be found I'd recommend MaxMotorsports c/c plates. I don't know anything about autofab's plates though.

Nope, no typo. But I agree with you about MM products.
"I don't really want to say anything other than Maximum Motorsports is crap..."

"...Anything other than Maximum Motorsport's is crap..." (not quite true though)

I guess it's a little confusing but that's what I intended to say. And I don't want to immediatly say autofab's products are crap, I don't know/have read opinions, about thier stuff.

Thanks, I appreciate your comments. Guess I will be looking at MM plates.

the bushings in most of the other plates on the markets just can't take the whippin they get on the front end of the car. MM's are the only plates I use because of how many pairs of other brands I've seen being replaced with them. That and with all the abuse I give my car the CC plates from MM have always been perfect and tough.

Ordered my MM plates today:D Can't wait for them to get here... I should have just listened to my instincts before I bought the others. Live n Learn:mad:

That's exactly why I wrote the readme sticky. I already went through all the wasted money and nearly-as-good parts. Done with that shit.

Enjoy. You'll like em. They're a little louder than others but they're tough as nails and if you're rockin stock a-arms you won't notice anyway.

when you replace your plates, post up some pics of your autofabs... I want to see the construction and try and see what happened. Curiosity.
