Hows my suspension setup look?

Well here is what is currently on my car...only other suspension i plan on doing are a bumpsteer kit and Eibach anti roll kit (front and rear sway bars)

Eibach Pro Kit
KYB AGX 8 way adjustable gas shocks/struts
MM caster/camber plates
Steeda strut tower brace
MM full length welded subframes
SMR welded in torque box plates
Steeda adjustable upper control arms
Steeda non adjustable lower control arms

This is a street car btw

Thats what already on the car? If so, I don't think the upper control arms were a good idea. How do you like the KYB adjustables? I haven't heard much good about thoes. Everything else seems good.

lose the uppers and yur gonna be golden.

I just did the adjustable uppers and lowers and the car hooks great now. I set the pinion angle to stock so i have no reason to switch them out. The KYB agx's are great too. Dont know where youve heard they are junk but every body i talk to loves theirs too.

i don't like KYB in general. AGX's specifically. They've just never lasted long enough for my taste. That's why they're cheaper than Bilsteins though.

I'd ditch the steeda lowers and put in MM adjustable lowers. They're stupid strong and adjustable.

Now... if you just want to finish what you started, then it's PHB or watts link time. You have a really nice street setup and I know a proper lateral link will really solidify the ride and reign in the rear so you can explore more of the limits of your power potential without wrecking the car. This is the only thing I can honestly say you need to do.

You may need a proper sway bar upgrade. I can't possibly tell without driving the car HARD. I'd bet a dollar you could really use either the steeda adjustable auxiliary sway bar or a front and rear set of Eibach sways.

Lastly... have you considered jumping into a torque arm? Traction is WORLD's better than ANY 4-link based on the stock pickup points.

i seriously just did the uppers/lowers like a day ago so i am going with stick with the 4 link rather than panhard bar/torque arm. i considered it but its just way too expensive. I just wanted a platform that would put my power to the ground and i think with a set of sticky radials my setup will do the trick. You might have missed it in my first post but i still plan on doing a bumpsteer kit and Eibach anti roll kit.

the panhard or watts don't eliminate the uppers... only the tq arm does. I'd still do the PHB or watts. With the Eibach bars and a PHB you're done. There's nothing else but coil overs to move up to.

97stanger 03-16-2008 09:22 AM

oh wow i didnt know that. Ive always just seen guys with torque arm/panhard bar setups and thought that it was either upper control arms or that route. If thats the case ill definately snatch a panhard bar as well. I'm taking it the MM panhard bar would be a good choice?

w00t. Weld it in. Don't bother bolting it.

Griggs PHB is kinda fragile. I've seen like 5 of them cracked. MM's is solid as a rock.
