Step by step installation

I've done struts before and they are increadibly easy, but i've never done anything where the spring is seperated from the shock. Do i need a spring compresser?? What do i need to remove?? Etc...

on a mustang like yours you do not need a spring compressor.

then how do i get the spring off?? Are they not held in by anything??

What exactly are you trying to do? Remove the spring, strut, or shock?

/\/\/\/\/\/\---yes follow his link.

you have to disconnect the strut and sway bar links and then pry the control arm down and pull the spring out.

I'll be honest with you, if you cant look at the spring/strut area and see what needs to be done to remove it, well, it may be beyond your skill level to do the job. Mustangs have a VERY simple suspension setup.

Trust me i can do suspension work. I just got used to doing all work work on lifts and now that i dont have those anymore i'm just way to dam lazy. I hate working with jacks/stands so i wanted to know the step by step before i started lifting anything up
