lowering question

ive heard that after lowering more than about 1.5" u need to get new cc plates, and other things ... i was looking into h&r sports, so can i just get those without having to get new cc plates and other things? or what springs should i go with?

if you lower more than 1.5" without significant parts changes it trashes your suspension geometry and your car will handle pretty poorly. Lowering without CC plates is doing the job half way. Some cars get a decent alignment without them, most need cc plates to get a tire friendly setting.

H&R sports, or Steeda sports should be just fine drop wise but you need to seriously consider new dampers (tokico HP or illumina should be fine) as the lowered stance and increased spring rates will quickly wear out the stockers.

Read my suspension sticky and you'll understand more.
