Default MM Strut Tower Brace fitment problems!

So i got my maximum motorsports strut tower brace.

I pupped the hood and put it in place to check the fitment aand i have 2 problems right off the bat.

So this thing bolts to the strut tower, on the passenger side there is this little do-hicky that is right in front of the tower. It is in the way. I looked at the instructions and it did not exist in the car that the instructions were done on.
That aint a big deal, i can redrill a couple holes and move it forward about 1/2 inch and it should fit.

HOWEVER, on the other side the goddamn fuse box is RIGHT THERE all up against the strut tower, and completly in the way.

I got a roomate who is a master mechanic, he looked at it and said we could probably fabricate something to get the fuse box moved out of the way.

Anyone else have this problem?

This is on an 04 Gt.

I have a steeda one so idk if theres a difference but I took the do hicky(lol) off the one side but the strut dident come down that far that the fuse box was a factor.

Lol... yah, on the fuse box side i cant even get the part that bolts down to touch the part it bolts to.

I'll get it figured im sure, hopeing somone else already figured it though and i could just follow suit.

When installing it, those boxs are to be removed and then reinstalled after the brace is installed (pg 3 of instructions).

I have the same brace on the same body... it's not a big deal. You have to move those things out of the way to do the install but they should end up going right back where they came from. Mine did.

FWIW... I had to cut the back 2 legs apart and spread them out a bit so my CAI would fit... just a warning.
