lowering springs
Im looking to get some lowering springs for my 03 mustang GT..what type do you think I should order?
H&R's FTW!!
:stupid: either H&R SS, or Eibach Sportlines, I'm going with one of the two.
I did the HR Race springs and I love them...but get Bilstein shocks/struts while yer at it.
depends how low do you wanna go, what kinda ride do you want and what are you gonna do. Street car, street strip, drag only, road racer?
street car for sure..and i dont want it so low that my headers or front bumper or anything else starts regularly scraping the ground.
I have H&R Super Sports 1.75 drop with Tokico adjustable shocks no scraping on exhaust and also no issues with catback hitting rear axle like some say who are lower. Will save the hoaring of your post with pics. If you wanna see any the link is here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v5...Glow/MACH%201/

I did my springs before my LT's and was worried about the LT's scraping, so I went with the Steeda Sport Springs, since they didnt' provide such a huge drop. In the 1 1/2 years I've had the LT's in, I've probably scraped them three at the most. I've thought about switching to the H&R's several times. It's all up to you, I think the drop for the H&R SS is pretty damn sweet.

eibach sportlines

Of the 3 cars in my area that have been lowered recently eibach have left the front end of each stang higher than the rear. Looks super funny and was TOTALLY obvious. They both changed to H&R and leveled the car out. That is the MAJOR reason I bought H&R and it was on a cobra and a v-6 so it wasnt a install issue it was a spring issue. Have any of you experienced this also?
yea, my buddy has eibach and his front is notcibally higher. it looks out of place and ridiculous. he doesnt have the money to switch but he said he wants h&r's too so i think Im going to go that route.

H&R's FTW!!!!!!!!!
I have the sport's on the GT and the race spring's on the Cobra and love them. |
if you dont want to scrape alot, then to me personly i wouldnt go lower then 1.5" at the MAX. I dont wanna go less then 1.25" becuase of the speed bumps etc.. around orlando.
