H&r

well today i put the springs in...no problems until the last one. when i lowered the car back down the back right springs sits higher then the left side. so i dont really know what to do to fix this problem, anything im doing wrong??

Lances03SVT 07-25-2006 07:13 PM

Did you install the springs the exact same way on both side's??

brady281 07-25-2006 07:20 PM

yepp had both the lower ends of the springs facing the driver side...do you think it might settle out in a little bit..its about a 1/2-3/4 inch difference

Lances03SVT 07-25-2006 07:29 PM

Hmmmmmmm Yea they should.Mine were even though.

brady281 07-25-2006 07:33 PM

ill see how it looks in a week...other then that small thing, the car rides great

r3dn3ck 07-26-2006 04:38 PM

pull out 1 isolator. Then it'll be even.

zigzaggthefag321 07-26-2006 05:06 PM

I used the 2 MM isolators on each rear spring. Its even and the bottom spring tips both point to drivers side. You didnt leave out an isolator did you?

brady281 07-26-2006 06:38 PM

everything was put back in...today it settled a little more even, so its looking better...wouldnt takeing out and isolater make the ride alot harsher?

03gtmustang 07-26-2006 10:02 PM

It wont really make it harsher. But it MIGHT give you some extra noise.

Saleen S330 07-27-2006 06:24 AM

I took out the isolators on my 95 and didn't hear anything and it wasn't harsh.

brady281 07-27-2006 07:10 AM

so i do take out the bottom or top one....the back right side of the car is sitting about a 1 1/2 finger widths higher then the left

03gtmustang 07-27-2006 08:25 AM

Id take out the bottom one to start.

brady281 07-27-2006 08:43 AM

if the bottom isnt enough should i put that back in and take the top out ..or jus take out both...
