Suspension

Hey guys i need help badly....I dont really know about suspension.. My car is a bit bouncy when im driving. I have lowering springs eibach 1.5 drop, i wanted to upgrade my shocks cause im thinking that might be the reason why its bouncy..at the same time i'll like to do my whole suspension. I have a 2000 Mustang Gt Convertible.. I want the best of the best but not to pricey. Can you guys plzzzzzz let me know what i need and what brands are the best! thanks alot!

The bullitt suspension kit is a pretty darn good kit and not very expensive.....installing that kit on your vert will be like night and day....in a good way

What are you trying to get out of the car? Is it going to be street only, street/ strip, autocross?

well i kinda wanted the car for strip/street/ etc a lil of everything....but maybe mostly street....something that is gonna be good for everything

by bouncy what do you mean? does your car bounce repeatedly after hitting a bump or is it just a really harsh ride and you feel every bump?

The bullit kit is nice and not expensive but not much of a change from stock. From eibach to bullit will be a substantial difference.

I'd stick with Maximum Motorsports. Give them a call and they'll spec a suspension for you with your budget and needs in mind.

yea its harsh...like i feel every bump.....roads i feel them bouncy...when their not i wanna do a good upgrade better than the bullit and even better than cobra upgrade........help

New shocks and struts will fix that.

also when you lower your car, your giving up some of the creature comforts. the stock ride height/stock springs gave the car a more nicer/not to bumpy ride, lower your car and your giving up ride quality for a lower stance. Better shocks and struts will help alittle more. i feel every bump in the road with my H&R springs and i have bilstein shocks and struts. but i love the low look of my car.

bullit will be squishy by my measurements but some people consider them sporty and fairly firm. You'll probably be happy with the ride but I doubt you'll be happy with the drop.

What about suspension from Kenny Brown?? I wanna upgrade everything.controls arms, cc,shocks, i already have the springs so ima keep them..

Here are my recommendations. MM subframes, MM c/c plates, MM adjustable lca's, Steeda HD adjustable uca's. Or PA Racing adjustable lca's and uca's.
