Default UPR K-member?

Is the UPR K-member any good? Is the Maximum motorsports K member any better? Whats the difference? The shop nearby me has a UPR K member and coil over setup. Maybe soon ill have enough for some suspension mods and this is the first thing I want to do.

I have been doing some corner carving on these nice country roads we have around here. I found out how bad my front slides around through the corners and I have to slow down. It sucks. The rear sticks better but it needs work also. Only problem is, that when I get the car to handle then Ill need bigger brakes....

If you're into corner carving then the MM k member is the way to go. Dont even think about the UPR stuff.

BTW we have a suspension forum now.

if you are serious about corner carving aka road racing then only go with MM or Griggs setup. That setup is for serious road racers and you will spend a decent amount of money for the K, tubular a arms, CO's, struts, etc. Figure you will spend in excess of $2500 just for the front of the car going with an MM setup and what I have listed above.

You should consider a set of coil springs and new shocks and struts as that will likely be more cost effective and give the desired results for what you are wanting the car to do.

Yep, Todd is right. Might want to get a good set of springs, adjustable shocks and struts, new lca's and uca's, and some sub frame connectors. I bet that would probably keep you VERY happy for awhile. Hell you could probably leave out the lca's and uca's and still be happy. But my first mods would be adjustable shocks and struts and MM sub frames.

Yes but the car WILL eventually have a turbo on it since I am about to pay it off and I wont be buying another car. I was thinking supercharger and lowering springs, but im going with experience knowing that I wont be satisfied with it. I think I want to skip the bolt ons and start thinking towards turbo in the next couple of years.

I can start with just A arms, coil overs, cc plates, and struts. The K member would come when I put my other motor in the car.

Yeah, then youll have to get the K that goes with the turbo. Which is probably why you were thinking UPR.

Will the MM K member fit the Hellion Kit?

Nothing fits with the hellion kit, even the crappy K-member it comes with doesn't fit. I'd use the MM and modify what you have to to make it work.
