Seriously what is this dudes problem?

I notice I am not the only one on this site that gets a little ill seeing some of your comments. The one you posted about me in the thread about being in the service was absolutely hilarious. I mentioned something to Lance about my father being in the 101st and you have to run your mouth about me and my comment when nothing I said was directed towards you. I appreciate people and what they do for our country but I do not appreciate someone like you having such a respectful career.

Are you threatening me by asking where I live because you are coming to Pensacola? I am not going to stoop to some immature level and meet you for a fight. This is why I tell you to grow the hell up. Why don't you hurry and go to Iraq where the real war is and stop giving e-threats to me.

And I have never been beat up by anyone in the Marines, Army, Navy, Coastguard, ROTC, etc. I hate most of them because of people like you and people that I deal with everyday. You have a lot of growing up to do in my book before you can seriously accept the fact that you are a real Marine. Real Marines have respect and class..and you sir have none.

Why would you be offended at what he said? He said he doesnt like to deal with the people with attitudes. Seems to be a perfectly legit statement to me.

jason has yet to reply..

Who cares what his problem is. He has been a trash talking fool. If he wants to have any buddys on here he better learn to chill out. Marine or not, i could care less.

I like marines, they go through some **** and are willing to lay themselves down on the line for our freedom, but that doesent make them above anything, it doesent make them better than anyone, and it sure as hell doesent mean they are the toughest thing since sliced bread either. I knew an israli special forces guy who would mop the floor with marines. Those guys are freakin hardcore. They make the seals look wimpy.

When i was in the USAF in japan we had a marine detachment. For the most part they were barely tolerable.

Now, out of the USAF and back in civilian life, we have many ex marines where i work and they are all hard workers, very diciplined, and a pleasure to work with.

For some reason they are just a bunch of assholes who think way too much of themselves when they are active duty though.

Ok, well thats not true. Its just guys like Jason24 that act like retards and give the rest of them a bad rep.
Most marines are like anyone else, over all decent people.

Dont let jason24's immaturity make you think less of marines.

On the same token, there is a reason a lot of active duty marines are cocky assholes.

Its cause they were broken down and rebuilt that way. To a degree ive seen that attitude nurtured and encouraged. Then again, if yer ggonna go out there and take on the enemy head on, you better as hell feel invincible, cause fear will get you killed.

problem is for the first couple years of active duty a lot of them end up being big assholes cause they cannot fogure out when and where they need to use that mentality, so they have it on full balls to the wall.

well to play devil's advocate here.. he [jason24] probably didn't fully "read" the thread and hence, picked up on something (that really wasn't meant to be said, or he misread) that really pissed him off... maybe you caught him on a bad day.

You know? He just got a little heated thats all, no need to blow this up into a whole... big thing.

If you lived in Pensacola you would know what I mean. Other Military guys even hate Military guys here because of the way they act. They start fights at the mall, fights at the club, fights at the beach, get in groups and harrass women, one was raped and nearly died behind a club by a guy in the Military and he ended up leaving Pcola the next morning back to California to the Nimitz. He was caught and is undergoing trial here right now. Like I said there are many I respect but I am sure most of you can vouch that there are some douchbags in the service. I don't mean to disrespect any of you in any branch but I seriously can not stand most guys in Pensacola. Most of them here are looking for a piece of ass before they leave for some other town. A lot of my female friends have been screwed over by them because of this. A few of them have kids because of this. I work at a store by the mall that is majority women who work and shop there. We have to politely ask large groups of them to leave atleast once a week because of the way they start talking to our girls in front of customers. On duty I give much respect, but off duty....I can't stand most of them. I am straight up about how I feel about certain things so if you don't like me for being honest then don't like me. I don't lie to people to be accepted...

Here is the story about the beating in Pensacola http://www.pensacolanewsjournal.com/...601210322/1006

A lot of this goes back to the post by Danny and his waiter job..the comments Jason24 made about women made me sick.

Yeah that's true. My dad who was in the Army, and my girlfriend's dad who is in the Air Force both hate Marines because of how they acted. Pre-Madonnas.

Being Infantry makes you look down on all the other branches.Makes you cocky as hell too.Don't know how many AF guy's we fought over in Germany but it was alot.We had Tanker's Stationed at the same post and we fought them on a daily basis.

You will alway's have the 18 year old's who are away from home for the first time and don't know how too act. They are even hated by people in the same unit.Basic training for Combat Arm's makes you feel like you are the toughest guy around and that is how they want you too feel.Hell most of the marching cadences are about killing

When I was in Germany it used to bug the hell out of me the way alot of idiot's had no respect for anything. How many times can you see a dumbass passed out hugging the toilet and not think "Why".Does just being away from home give you the right too be a complete idiot?

The Military is like anywhere else. You have your good guy's and your assholes.Too bad some of them give the Military a bad name.I'm very proud too have been in the Army and being Infantry.

You know what i liked about the USAF? Short boot camp, 1hr of PT twice a week unless it was too hot out, then we enjoyed air conditioned barracks. Once yer out of basic the PT all but disappears.
I also liked the chow halls with that great USAF food. And when we get sent to saudi, we have air conditioned tents with cable television.

hehehehe

Us USAF guys dont like roughing it. LMAO

Yep. That was the good life. 3 hots, a cot, and more beer and women than you could shake a stick at.

PT damn don't get me started. You guy's could WALK your 2 mile run.Try doing a 12 mile road march in the desert with 100+ pounds of gear in under 3 hour's.

Nothing better than a 6 mile PT run at 6am after drinking till 4am

Tell ya what.
I joined in 1996.

Where wasnt NOTHING going on back then. No wars. We had a missle shot over my base from korea, all claiming it was a sattellite rocket, yah right.

I couldnt see the reason in doing the army or marines, there wasnt a war. USAF made sence to me, plus my folks were both in. I figured if there isnt a war im going for quality of life, if there WAS a war i would h
