Look I started messaging you awhile ago because I was going to move down there. People probably move here because of the Taxes and how shitty California is for right now. My little brother's sister just moved back from California, her boyfriend and a few others.
56K friends eh. You just going through myspace and randomly adding whoever?

193 dollar registration. Another 60 or so for smog, if I don't have to pay hombre...

I'm working on finding another smog shop that can get me done without hassle.. I may have one or two but I'm not sure yet..

I'm also checking to see if I can change my registration right now to the northern california area..i forget what small town it is, but my aunt and uncle own some property up there and have offered to let me use the adress to register my car..

If all else fails, I'll be calling red and having him help me out... road trip maybe? =)

Yeah $193 seems high unless you were late on the payment by a few weeks. Mine was $148, but the smog will cost me $200.

Our emissions testing kind of sucks here too, but smog testing is only $10/yr. + tags.
I hear ya, but if you take the politics and crap you hear on tv out of the picture and just take a vacation here you'd freaking be in heaven. People get all pissed when a lame law passes and then they go to the beach or mountains and all that **** goes out the window.

I can't and won't defend Cali's politics, but god damn is this state is beautiful!

Yeah.. That law makes no sense. Cancelling the testing of vehicles made prior to 1996, despite the fact that they are the biggest polluters. And in Illinois pre-96 vehicles make up something like 35-40% of the cars on the road
