Fuckit, I grew up poor, I'm happy to have lived my life hard, so nothing hurts too much nowdays.

I'm also very proud that I work my ass off at 20 harder then what some (possibly most) people will work ever in their life to earn what I have. Shit, I dropped 16 grand on a v6 partially cause I'm a tard, and partially cause I got the money to. lol.

I've got 4 retirements (yes, 4, not counting what i've invested into), full benefits, and I'm possibly thinking I'll elope (sp?) so the girl can get benefits back.. fuckit..

Oh yea..and my mustang is good for a 150 shot.. estimated at mid 11s...i plan on throwing a 200 shot at it within the next year if it doesn't blow up again..so fuckit..Ill run a viper, lol. AND..that turbo charged GT in the OTHER post..has forged wheels (same manufacturer as 360 forged diff name..) roadrace wheels, BFD.. they are cute and all, i'll take my slicks and skinnies though, thanks.

A thread where Dan was getting served undeniable helpings of truth and reality = not a ridiculous thread.

A thread where a member proved his own spoiledness and lack of true feeling of self worth, where the only thing that appeases him is to gain material posessions by any means and flaunt them to anyone who will listen or read.

The guy just dug his own hole deeper and deeper. So it was a worthwhile thread IMHO.

im sad the thread got closed, getting a rise out of the tool was a relief from the boring day of staring at code all day.

While I understand where you are coming from, I won't force myself to agree. I was quite vocal about how I felt when he came back, but now I couldn't care less.

If the only thing that appeases him is material possessions and thereby flaunting them, why take notice of it by replying to his threads? If someone is an attention-whore, the best way to fuck with them is to NOT give them attention and basically ignoring the hell out of them. Leave their thread empty. Let those who want to give them glory, give all the appreciation they can. He knows how you feel and you, in turn, are appeasing him with your comments. He thinks you are jealous and even though you, me, and several other people know that isn't true, Spinz will always think that way. His false idea of jealousy is fueled everytime you fire back at him. The more fire you throw, the more satisfaction he gets. You want to fuck with him, throw him the fucking ice complete with a side of cold shoulder.


I work with a girl who is VERY materialistic. She constantly flaunts what she has that I (and other co-workers) don't have. She's very arrogant and thinks she is better than me. Everytime she tries to tell me a story, I don't even look at her while she is talking to me. I just work while she is talking and half-ass nod my head. When she bitches about something, I turn my radio up. I don't give her ANY satisfaction because that's what she wants. Now, she doesn't really include me in on her conversations and that's exactly what I want. If all I had to do was ignore her to get her to leave me alone with her stories, I would have started doing it a long time ago. I have made it clear to her that I couldn't care less what she has because she is not important to me. I laugh at her when she talks about how she's in debt. I fucking love it. I get a strange satisfaction from ignoring her because she knows I'm ignoring her because I don't want to be bothered with her shit.

I guess that's why I think the thread is ridiculous... because it's so similar to what I have to deal with damn near every day. So I figure I will handle Spinz the same way I handle her.

For the record, I don't have a personal problem with Spinz. Yes, I think he is spoiled, but I don't care. I don't care about his money or his lifestyle. I don't know him, but I don't think he's a horrible person.

I think he needs to come to one of our FL meets so he can show us how fast his viper really is and how much of a tool he is not.

I somewhat agree, and I shouldn't have even posted on that thread, but you "newcomers" have to realize there is history with spinz and some of us that were around still remember it.

Some you who posted said others are jealous, and don't get me wrong there probably some people who are jealous, but for me it's not about what he has or how he got it, it's the attitude that just drives me nuts.

Since the day I graduated college I have been fortunate enough to work with some young and very successful/high level people in the SF Bay Area who are not just rich, but wealthy and NOT ONE OF THEM has an attitude like that.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

That's exactly how I feel. I don't care what he has or how he got it, and I don't like his attitude, but I don't think he's a horrible person.

I grew up in Pleasanton, so you know how some of the people their are. haha. There were kids in highschool driving around M3s at the time, mustangs and such. there was one kid who had a Mustang GT with stuff done to it, system and all that. So he wrecks that car and mommy and daddy feel the need to buy him a Roush this time instead. My friend is spoiled and his parents are well off and they live in a 2 mil house, but he's not an arrogant ass. He is grateful for the things he has. I just don't like the attitude and the fact that he hasn't contributed anything to this forum except look what I have. Everyone else on here who doesn't have a mustang anymore, still contributes to tech threads and has useful info. to throw out.

But I will not longer respond to any thread he starts. I will comment if he makes some shithead comment in one of my threads or someone elses that takes it off topic.

I hear ya. I get what yer saying. I am just not self controlled enough not to reply and voice my opinion. Especially when a total waste of space, air and life like him comes BACK to this board acting the same loser, flamer, spoiled little bitch boy ways.

Here's my take. Yes, Spinz does flaunt what he has. I don't see one problem with that. He's not walking around telling the other guys on this forum that Mustangs blow, or that they're scrubs because they drive V6's.

Instead, he shows pictures of his car with one of the best photography companies out there. He did put Zig's name in the title, but as someone else pointed out Zig was the first one to throw a punch in the "I'm Back' thread. So why should he not. The whole he said, he started it first crap is really immature. Even for internet purposes. And commenting every five minutes on how much of a tool, how slow Spinz car is, and how mommy bought it is really fucking stupid. Just leave it alone. Don't like him, don't prove how immature you are by posting in his thread every five minutes.

Spinz doesn't always post up random shit. He's posted in some of my threads offering advice. And most of the other threads I look at he comments in without flaunting or being a jackass at all.

How do ANY of you know what he is really like. As far as you guys calling him spoiled, he may be just that, but if you don't like him than quit commenting of the freaking threads.

Whenever I first join MB, without even telling you my background or who I was where I come from you guys instantly were telling me how spoiled I was and that "daddy's" car looked nice. All I told you was that I was 17 and had an '08 GT. When, for a matter of fact I worked for every bit of that car. Sold my SVT and put in pretty much all of my money to buy it. But, nope just because I'm 17 and got a brand new GT I'm spoiled.

I think certain people deserve harrassment, and there is a big difference between constructive criticism and just being a downright jackass. I love this board and the people on here have helped me out a lot. But here lately it's been a big turn-off to even come here because everyone alway seems so uptight. This board seems to have more drama than a highschool cheerleading squad.

I just don't like coming on here and instead of seeing people's questions about there cars being answered you're fighting over somebodies lifestyle....to which you don't even know what it truly is. Just drop the crap and let it go. All of the Spinz haters don't comment on his threads. Easy as that. If Spinz attacks you (and I mean literally, not jokingly), then you can tell him to GTFO, but I have yet to see a realistic attack from him.

Maybe I missed it or something, but I haven't really seen him offer any advice worth taking. I for one have never said Stephen was cool in person. I always thought he was a jackass. As far as I've seen, people's threads do get answered. It seems once spinz comments on one is when things get out of hand minus a tech thread, well because I haven't see him post in there yet.

I understand how some of the fighting and such gets out of hand, but some people speak their minds and they arent going to stop. If you don't like it, then don't keep reading the thread, just like you say don't respond to anything Spinz says. It's not easy to ignore it, is it?

Umm. Actually last time I checked it's my right to read and look at what I want. As it is your right to voice your opinion. But, when you comment EVERY 5 MINUTES saying how much fo a douchebag, tool, spoiled brat he is YOU are the one who looks immature. No one here is any better than Spinz. Yes, his approach to life may be that in which many do not agree, but it's still his view. And obviously he's doing pretty well to not be in jail or on an episode of Cops. I'm not envious of him, but I would sure as hell love it if my parents let me stay in their houses to where I didn't have a mortage note.

For the record, I never had a problem with the guy when he came back on here until he started spouting off how much he paid for this and that and how much the house his parents let him live in. I could care less what he has. I'm in no way envious or jealous. If I really wanted to have a $1200 car payment, I could go live with my parents no problem. I just don't like arrogant, cocky assholes who can't even be humble with what they were given.
