Well, I stopped in to a high-end detailing business today to inquire about making my car stand out beyond belief. They had a Saleen there...not a mustang, but a real Saleen. The car is on it's way to Ca.

Anyway, I am considering making my car more top-notch. Last winter, I had my hood re-painted, put on a new Roush bumper and wing. My rear bumper needs to be replaced/repainted now also.

Now, the guy who painted my stuff, did not do the best job. But, the price was right. I am now considering doing the bumper, hood, rear bumper and wing by a real pro. I may also have stripes painted on at the same time...what the hell, if the whole thing has to be painted anyway.

I think I am looking at about $1500. Thing is, not sure how the stripes will look.

I am going to start to get some firm quotes after the new year and go from there. This should make my car look like a real standout, but the SC will have to get put on hold.

I may even consider re-painting the entire thing if the price is right, but you get what you paiy for sometimes.

Hmmmmm well if your paint is that bad I say go for it.$1500 is not too bad.

On the stripes if you do it go for something different like pearl white,that would really stand out.

I don't think I would put stripes on it with the parchment top. If you really want to do the stripes, I would do like floppy and replace my top with a black one.

Too be honest I would get the supercharger (would you kepp your nitrous with it or what?). Your car looks great as is....and since you dont know what the stripes would look like if your eventually going to paint all of that then you can put the stripes on yourself for now dont like it you can remove it. I dunno that is a tough choice.......paint is sucha perminant thing and I would take it to someone skilled
