Washing your car during the winter

So for those of you, who drive their stangs in the winter (where its cold)
what do you do to wash your car??

my car is filthy from a recent snow, but i cant wash my car because its FREEZING

i didnt have to worry about it befire cus i had a lifted jeep and left it dirty..now my stang is messy and i dont like it

give it a good spray down.....i did that to my stang when we got hit really hard....and if u dont like wat just water did...then just wash it in the cold...

get some waterproof gloves and keep warm w/ a jacket and wash away!

For my other car i drive in the winter I just pull mine into the garage and wash it in there..I got a heated garage though but it might not be as cold anyways

i just go to a car wash place that has underbody rust inhibitors and they vacuum all for 10 bucks. water hose is always frozen here

Hook up to your hot water heater and use the HOT water!! Also, get some dishwashing gloves to keep your hands dry...that helps.

Mr Clean Auto dry works pretty good too.

This is what I do. I use a bucket of warm water to soap it down. It is not too cold it won't freeze. Then I rinse with the hose, or more buckets of water. Then, I pull in my heated garage. I crank the heat up to about 78 and then dry, wax or whatever in complete comfort.

I've got one of those oil heaters in my garage that look like an old school radiator. It'll keep it livable in there (no 75 degrees or nothin) and will only run you about 45 bucks at lowes.

Dude, just go down to a car wash, one of the ones with the bays you drive int, throw in some quarters and use the high pressure sprayer...

Welll.. dont use the high pressure untill the crap is off.

I hear you about dirty stangs, in the wintertime here in colorado they throw down so much fuggin salt that my Black GT looked like it was DSG. Washed it today and she is is KICKIN ASS OH YEAH BABY SHE ROCKS MAN!

Let the truth be known that I actually use a Kero heater to heat mine. It is portable and the garage is insulated with the Master Bedroom over the top, so the garage gets VERY warm with the heater going. My thermostat in my truck has read 80 degrees when it was near zero outside with that dam heater running.

1. move to FLorida or down south...
2. go to a place that does the undercarraige...you gotta get the damn salt outa there...then wash the rest like you do normally...

Here in Southern NC. It wont get too cold to clean my car. I will loose the feeling in my hands for a while but it's worth it. If it does get below 32 it doesn't stay there long and the stang can just stay dirty. Not much salt spreading to cause any problems. If it's a cold sunny day and my car needs a bath, She gonna get one. And yes Mr Clean Autodry works great in the cold too. No spots yet. Been using it for almost a year now.

Its getting cold here in SC, like today I think it was about 40...suck it up baby boy, who cares if you get frostbite, at least your car is clean...

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska. What I do is use some stuff called drywash. It works real well and doesn't use any water. It gets down to -50F here and if you use water then dry your car, when you get where your going your doors will be frozen shut despite your best drying job. Probably not many of you have ever had that problem.

I just took mine thru a touchless with dryer after it got filthed up from the snow. It looks soooo good!

EDIT: Well I was going to go take some pictures of my squeaky clean stang, but go figure, the camera batteries are dead.

I got it used and the driver's door needed a little more slam to close and latch, like it was sagging a little. So it's getting new hinges. For free.
