Anthracite Bullets
 

Is there any difference between the color referred to as "anthracite" and the stock grey-looking bullets? Some pictures make the anthracite ones look kind of shiny and light and I just didn't know. Haven't seen any in person, just looking to see if anyone can verify if they are the same color, one lighter than the other, whatever. Thanks.

I've heard of some people just buying the backs because they want DD but I've never seen them in person...there supposed to be really close if not the same.

Anthracite is the grey you are talking about. the difference in color you see is lighting, and car color that makes it look different. they are all the same.

cool thanks a lot. I dumped the the 20" chrome cobras I had (put them on my fiance's 95 red v6...look better on that car than they did on mine lol), and am back on the 16" stockers for now. My stripes are the dark grey, essentially just like the bullets. Everyone is telling me the bullets would look wicked. I know I can get some stock bullets off ebay, but of course, I want to go with 315s in the rear and thus need a wider rim, so that is why I wanted to make sure that the anthracite was the same so that it would match as closely as possible to the stripes.

ACtually if you have bullitt rims from a 01 bullitt( ford still sells these wheels I believe) then they wont match the aftermarket deepdish rims. If you have the newer bullitts ( I THINK 2002-up) then they will match. Its on modular depot, cause I almost bought some anthracites instead of black.

I've been wondering that myself. They must have some sort of coating on them to make them a little shiney though. Let me tell you how my dumb!@# figured that one out. I was polishing everything with my new Dremel tool, and I even hit the wheels on my wife's truck. They looked awesome. Well, I tried the same on mine. I guess I burned some kind of coating that was on them because after I wiped off the wheel cleaner, I saw several dull lines on the wheel. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed now. I may buy one, or even a pair. At first I thought that it was a good reason to buy some Saleen wheels, but I just bought four new tires and the Saleens are 18s and not 17s. I may just breakdown and buy some Cobra wheels. I guess that's what I might save for next.
