Very nice. I'm sure you speant less than $70+ to make it too. Roush makes a toolbox that mounts in the same location that I always thought was pretty slick...at least they used to, I don't know if it's available anymore.
I thought about doing someting similar to the plexi/ neon combo with a rear seat delete. |
It cost me under $30 to make it.
|
Looks sweet man. I like it.

Great job on that! I really like the light… although, I may have sealed the area around the neon light in aluminum foil (or something like that) to reflect it more and help hide the bulb too… what do you think?
Shaker  |
Here's mine... no light, but I had the thread matched with the interior threading (parchment).

That one's nice... is that pony raised? That's sweet!

It fits perfect Is the raised pony formed into the fabric or did they just apply it on top of the base? |

The way I have done it is to sandblast a bit the pony and put light around the outside edge. The textured pony should reflect the light now. You might want to try it on a scrap piece to make sure it will work out for you.
|
I might thake a piece of spare plexi and texture it, then put it behind the pony thats on there now. I will have to see what I can do after I'm finished work this week.
|
The plexiglass has to have some texture in order for it to reflect the light otherwise the light will go right through to the other side.
|
This is my first time using plexi glass so I guess I have some learnin to do ;)
