Black Dual Mustang Halo Projector Headlights burning wire
I bought the projector headlights back in May and my left headlight went out three days ago. I went in to change the bulb but found the connecting wire to be almost burned through. The wire had frayed next to the headlight and was darkened as if it had been burned or slowly cooked. It now appears that Ill have to replace this wire. As a precaution I checked the right light and it seems to have the same early signs. Can anyone advise if they had this problem on theirs or have seem similar? Do I need a bigger gauge wire? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Almost had charred Halo lights. Time to get the factory replacement headlights!

These Halo lights only last a few months? Makes me want to not even bother now...

Sounds more liking a wiring problem then the product itself. Where did the wire in the power for the halo's or whatever else those have in them.

Re:Halos
I am using all of the original wiring that came with the system and they were installed using the techniques covered in the how-to video. I was reading that it is somewhat common for H1 bulbs to heat up and some wires cannot handle the heat. I was just wondering if others have had the same issue. I dont know if its the heat or the current is too high for the gauge wire on the harness.
