Factory fog lights...
On mustangs with factory fogs, do the fogs turn off when the high beams come on? I'm taking a class to become a licensed PA state safety inspector and your supposed to fail a car if they stay on with the high beams. I ask because the i've driven a mustang with fog lights and i vaguely remember the fogs not going out when turning on the highs. I assumed that the lights were factory but maybe not...

They all do it, but you can wire them to stay on all the time when the parking lights or more are turned on.

i always knew they turned off
why is that though whats the safety behind that |
mine stay on even with the high beams on
|
thnx for the confirmation, i talked to the guy who's mustang i drove and they were rigged to stay on

if theyre just tied into the parking lights wont they stay on as long as your parking lights are?

Is the fog light button supposed to click like the rear defrost and traction control buttons do? My fog lights aren't working and I think that's the reason, also the light on the button doesn't come on either.
